**Updated** version as of 9/18/25: We have revised the entire purse from previous versions. For this new batch, we used a slightly darker, more natural color of synthetic wicker, acrylic beading, and new-style hardware for the handles and lock. Overall, it gives it a more modernized look. Today we have a new item, it's a replica of the Sophia Petrillo purse used on the 80s Hit TV show "The Golden Girls". This replica is the closest you will find to the original vintage bag used on the show. We used synthetic Rattan/Wicker, which is similar to what you would see on outdoor furniture. It is extremely durable and cleans very easily with a damp rag. This handwoven bag comes complete with a tan liner, just like Sophia's in the show. The acrylic beading details are handwoven right into the cross weave of the purse and are on both sides (front and back), so that each side is the display side. I added fake leather pads with metal feet to the bottom. The inside liner has a sewn-in divider for 2 serpent slots. We included a double handle, just like on the show. Metal hardware was used to create the handle and the locking clasp.
*This item is handmade and handwoven. On occasion, you may see a missed weave or a little blip in the weave. This is common, even for factory-made woven wicker.* Some beads may have blemishes.
